Google advertising in Nice and the Alpes-Maritimes
At the top of Google by tomorrow morning
You pay per visitor. So my work is easy to judge: is your money going to people who can become customers, or to the merely curious?
Measured on a real campaign I run in Nice
A fiercely competitive market: airport transfers between Nice and Monaco, where large operators bid hard. The full study is published here, including what these figures don't prove.
How I work
I start by checking people can reach you
Before spending a euro for you. On the account above, the site's contact button had been broken from day one: the client was paying for visitors who couldn't call him. None of it showed anywhere inside Google.
I pick few searches, very precise ones
Rather than casting wide and hoping. You can read the list of searches you're paying for and tell me yourself which are worthless for your trade. You know your customers better than I do.
I keep control of the bidding
Google's automatic settings need a lot of volume to be good. On a small local budget they cost money while they learn. I'd rather steer by hand until there's enough volume to justify otherwise.
I tell you what the numbers don't prove
It's what sets me apart most, and what loses me the most work. In the published case study I fixed a serious fault and then wrote plainly that I could not demonstrate my fix had improved the results. The data didn't allow it.
What to know before starting
- Don't cut your budget. On that account, stopping and restarting pushed the price per visitor up 30%. Better €5 a day continuously than €150 one week in three.
- Advertising stops when the payments stop. The day you switch off, you disappear. That's the major difference from SEO, which takes months but stays in place.
- Someone has to answer. If nobody picks up between noon and two, part of that budget is wasted. We set the hours around your reality, not the theory.
Free, no commitment
I look at what you already have
Whether you already advertise or not:
- If you already do: I look at where the money goes, which searches you're paying for pointlessly, and whether your calls are actually being counted.
- If you don't: I look at what it would cost in your trade in Nice, who's already paying for those searches, and whether it's worth it for you. Sometimes the answer is no, and I say so.
Either way you get my notes, written plainly.
